sort of thinking about changing my major again.

im going to be in trouble....
honestly though. public history isnt all i thought it would turn out to be. im enjoying it, but i cant see myself actually doing it as a career.
and this is the worst part...i dont want to do the required internship because that means i would have to leave my job at papa murphys earlier than i anticipated.

there are just a lot of things that i dont want to do.

what i do want...
essentially i just want to get through college. im not a good student. i dont like doing things when i have to do them. i just want to major in "college." i just want to graduate, and then i want to get a job. just a job. i cant pick the major that will lead me to the job that i will be happy with. i love my job at papa murphys...not because i just adore making pizzas...but because i really enjoy the people i work with. i like the amount of authority i have, i like the amount of respect i get, i like how much i am trusted. i like that i am co-employee of the month with one mr. zack miller. i like that i know how my day is going to go most of the time, but i cant pinpoint it...there are always surprises. i like that i know what i am doing and that i am good at it.

those standards could apply to any job i may find...whether it be in accounting, factory work, engineering...whatever. the problem is, i wont know until i get there.
so it doesnt matter what i major in really. i just want a job...some benefits...federal holidays off...not too much to ask.

so following with this whole...it doesnt matter what i major in theory...i may or may not decide to become a philosophy/humanities major. know why? aside from the fact that yes, i find it interesting...my mind is never ever at rest and its fascinating to study the way other people think...

its an easy major.

30 credits.
no semester-long internship
if i started next semester, i could probably graduate in '07.
one more history class and i have a history minor
plus with all the crappy science classes i took last year, im pretty much done with my generals.

i just want a degree.
