the end of the holidays always makes me depressed too. even though i dont like them that much. its stupid how the christmas music is played and played and played and then december 26th...bam. done. i mean it makes sense, but its just weird. and its the little things, like commercials that have wintery or holiday sounding background music. those are gone too then. you look forward to this thing for so long and then its done. its daunting to think that you dont get another holiday season for a year, because you become sort of dependent on it. at least i do. i like being overly concerned with making plans and buying gifts and things like that. its something to do and to obsess about. now its gone and i feel sort of empty and i need something new to obsess about.
